What are Cosmetic Injectable Treatments?
Cosmetic fillers and injectables are non-invasive procedures that can provide a number of different aesthetic benefits. Whether you are looking to combat the signs of aging, eliminate or reduce lines, or balance out your facial features, there is an injectable treatment for you!
Neuromodulator & Dermal Fillers
Two of the most common forms of injectables are dermal fillers and neuromodulators. While both can soften the look of lines in the face, they work in different ways. Neurotoxins include Botox® and Dysport® work by relaxing muscles in the face to reduce the appearance of dynamic lines and wrinkles. The Dermal fillers we use include RHA®, Restylane®, and Juvéderm®. These fillers add volume under the skin to smooth out lines, wrinkles, hollow areas, and give plumpness and fullness. These fillers are the only FDA -approved fillers that can stimulate collagen to the skin to restore volume to the face.
There are also other treatments that fall under the umbrella term of “injectables” including vitamin injections, Kybella®, Sculptra®, and more. Sculptra® is the only FDA approved filler that can stimulate collagen to the skin to restore volume to the face. If you have any questions regarding these treatments and the differences between them, do not hesitate to contact our office today. We are fully dedicated to educating our patients on the aesthetic treatments that they are considering.
