Family Nurse Practitioner

Melissa Capote is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specializing in several areas of medicine including Gastroenterology, Hepatology, minimally invasive procedures, and aesthetic medicine.

Melissa graduated with Honors, with a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Sonoma State University in 2012. While working towards her degree, Melissa trained in several areas of medicine, including Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Geriatrics, and
Family Practice. In 2009, she placed 1st in the National Nursing Research Symposium in Rohnert Park, California for her poster presentation. Prior to this, Melissa graduated with Honors with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology in 2007 and an Associate Degree in
Nursing in 2009 becoming a licensed Registered Nurse shortly thereafter. Melissa has thirteen years of experience in Gastroenterology assisting in endoscopic procedures,
minimally invasive procedures, and administering conscious sedation for endoscopic and cosmetic procedures. Melissa is also becoming an expert Hepatology managing patients with various liver-related diseases.

Melissa has ten years of experience with non-invasive cosmetic treatments. She is trained in BOTOX® injections, laser hair removal, tattoo removal, intense pulsed light therapy (IPL), fractional lasers treatments, and skin tightening treatments. Melissa prides herself on her professionalism, skill set, and on the thoroughness of her work.
